I've shared some good eye contact and noticed mutual observation/analysis of groceries and then introduced myself right outside of the store. A couple times I've approached in the store.
Really the key is to ask a girl anywhere.
People are generally afraid to just walk up to someone and go fo it.
They love it.
I do really well just from my vehicle too.
I get a lot of numbers just rolling up next to a girl and asking for her number - in a parking lot, side of street, whatever. I drive a grand cherokee, which is nice for this.

1)Gotta be bold
2) Spontaneous..no lingering around or following
3) Go for the number instantly, make no bones about it. You think shes cute, you want to ask her out
4)Expect rejection...reply with a quick “no worries” and nonchalantly walk off
5) Expect only 1 out of 5 numbers you get to actually be receptive for a date or even answer you
6) Its a numbers game..gets easier the more you do it
Im not a pick up guru, probably a 6 out of 10 attractiveness. Lots of rejection...but the ones that worked out made it worth it
