At a recent law school graduation I attended, there was no separate graduation, but minority graduates who were in minority-based clubs each had a large colorful stole. As far as I know no other clubs or organizations had these, not even the LGBTQ one. Things like academic clubs and bar review, etc. got a thin cord but not a stole. I thought it was kinda strange.
