I agree those looks nice.. however the four door one my dad had was not really a show stopper.. we moved from that to a 4 door dodge polara…

Felix Leiter took one of those and replaced the engine with a Cadillac engine. Ian Fleming called it a Studillac.

my uncle had a 1953 studebaker with an overhead valve v-8. it was a decade or more ahead of everything else in style. GM didn't get a v-8 until 1955.

My dad had one when I was a kid and he'd refer to it as his "Steady Breaker" since he seemed to always be working on it.
But yeah, they were low slung pretty streamlined cars for that era.
