Court is absolutely insane. When I was in college I worked at the Iberville Parish court house. We were on the 2nd floor, court was on the 3rd floor. It was a mad house. I am surprised this doesn't happen more.
Of course I am sure they have officers serving as security, but they can't stop it all especially if its something involving two families. I remember one time there was a situation in which someone who killed another person and both families were in attendance. I don't even know what happened, but they had it out in the parking lot. Evidently the sister of the deceased attacked the mother of the killer.. I didn't see it, but when I left for lunch, there were 5 or 6 of them handcuffed.
This was 20 years ago or so.. so I am sure things have changed in how they do thing, but jesus that used to be a cluster. Overhearing the conversations were the best, but I can only imagine what this shite show was like.

That’s one way to get out of jury duty.

Hopefully no Nissan Altimas were hurt during this violent ordeal.

Baton Rouge District Judge Eboni Johnson Rose, who was in court observing Crifasi’s cases, also attempted to intervene.
This was part of the problem.
I don’t know anything much about Crifasi, but he was listed as a Republican at least once and is a white male. Was Eboni and maybe some of “visitors” there to pressure rulings somehow?

I didn’t click but I’m assuming all white and Asian people.

Several people could hear screaming, and slamming was heard against the doors of Judge Fred Crifasi’s courtroom.
Hair, earrings, shoes, and other personal items littered the hall outside of the court.
Superficially, this sounds well past a dust up, maybe even past kerfuffle and on the way to being a brouhaha (which I do NOT recommend).
But, ...

there were no injuries.
Just a dust up then. Boring.

Just keeping it classy, you have to have your “Hair Did” before court….
