What are the intentions to use this technology?

Inspection sticker enforcement drones.

What type of RPG's are they fitting them with?

I envisione drones being in the back of police cruisers when there is a high-speed chase initiating.
They pop hatch open and let the drone follow and the police car stays in place and then once the car in question gets a safe distance from traffic that’s when they then call out more cars to secure the suspect.
I think about the Hellcat Chases in Arkansas and how the cruisers could not keep up. Drones could potentially do that. And a network of them could certainly do it and create a safer environment.
Also think about the motorcycle dirtbike gang joyrides in large cities.
They just let them do their thing, then silently track where all the stolen bikes are kept when they return them to a warehouse storage unit.
Follow everyone home and arrest them individually.

One drone is going to follow fifty people home? That’s a big house they all live in. And I didn’t know these ghetto thugs are organized enough to keep a warehouse storage unit. Seriously, stop watching Taylor Sheridan fantasy shows.
Most likely practical use of this thing will be overhead observation of car and foot chases. I would be curious to know it’s too airspeed. How fast it can get across town when needed.

Could put suction cups on bottom and just land on top of car. Swivel camera in case they stop to knock it off get nice closeup.

It’s already been done with helicopters Einstein. This is only an example and NOT a film from T Sheridan.
However the ones I’ve seen before the bikers all come to the same pubic storage unit and store them there so they aren’t in possession of them if the police knock on doors.
The helicopter then wait till last bike is put up and they destroy the already insurance-claimed bikes at once so they dont get joy ridden again.
Your dumb as hell arse thinks 50 small drones won’t be a thing after seeing ole miss drone show. It’s going to get easier. Yes it’s that easy to follow fifty guys home of Amazon is considering dropping y ou r summers eve at your door via drone.
Keep watching old COPS videos for thrilling ideas.

They've been using drones. BRPD uses them on almost every episode of on patrol live. They are small drones that have FLIR and night vision to assist with locating a suspect who flees. This is done in coordination with K-9s
There's nothing "conspiracy theory" about it.

Rather them do nothing? The problem here isn't BRPD.

JPSO has been using them since last year, maybe longer.
WWL TV JPSO Drone
There's one that is stationed on top of one of the buildings at my son's school.

Lafayette used them during the summer of love
They used them to single out the paid ringleaders of the peaceful protests
Then they moved in and arrested them. The rest scattered like roaches.
