Wouldn't bother with the Audi. Dad has A8 and sister has Q5 and I'm not overly impressed for the price.
Both have had issues.
Eta: wife has a GLK and it's been a great vehicle. Also like the idea of Lexus but don't own one.

I would get a 2013-14 Audi A6 with the 3.0 engine and S-line appearance package. Or a 2012 Cayenne S. Wouldn't buy either without a CPO warranty.
Doubt 45k gets you either of those.

i would cut the budget by at least a third, then look at makes and models with a better reliability and dependability rating than most you have listed.
only ones on your list i would drive are prob the audis, but i'd only have one with full factory warranty on it.

My mom has a 2013 Jaguar XF with the supercharged V6...fully loaded and bought CPO for around your price point. It's an awesome car...only thing I don't like is the stop/start which I think can be deactivated.

I'm not a big fan of having high dollar car notes, but there are definitely vehicles that hold their value decently. Having a wife and children sometimes you have to bite the bullet to appease the crew as well as meeting the needs with convenience.

This.
WIN
Unless the OP likes having a LTR with the dealership due to issues.

Can we keep this crap on the money board? Lynx seems like a pretty successful guy, and mainly posts on the money board. Pretty sure he knows what he's doing.

It does burn oil faster than most. But it's not my first one. I can deal with $9 quart of oil once every 3 months.
