My grandmother made them and we have a couple. Not trashy, just a part of Christmas.

Nostalgic value. Not trashy.

My grandparents had a green one with the multi-color lights. I don't know what happened it though after they passed away. I guess one of the cousins got it.

Not trashy if it’s an original. If it’s a recent remake from Hobby Lobby, etc. - trashy.

Friend,

A9s, Nativity sets, Christopher Radko, Patricia Breen, Trimsetter, Spode, garland, statues of the Holy Family, Christmas pageants, caroling, good hot chocolate, church service, Reveillon dinner, and ceramic Christmas trees are all good things.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Spode

My mom has the Christmas ones.

I have a bad arse 12 plate set of spode woodlands I picked up at an antique store years ago.

These 2 are in there along with mallards, quail, pheasant, etc. Each plate is a different scene.

My wife puts one out every year. This was made by my Mother and she gave it to my wife before she passed. My wife also puts out a bigger BalsamHill Christmas tree.

I am very sentimental about the classic green one and colored lights… as a kid my mother would take me .. brother and sister on weekends to the ceramic hobby place on base ( military bases have great hobby centers)…

The one thing I remember she made and put out every Christmas was that ceramic tree.. lost it in the disposal of my parents stuff when they died.. my sister probably took it and put it on eBay:(

They are classic !

They are the best. I have my Maw Maw's that is over 50 years old.

I have my late mom’s that is about that old and I cherish it. It’s large and has a 70s vintage look to it. I have a small one that I bought in the 90s at the Broadmoor craft fair too.

Yeah gen X just trying to remember simpler times when they went to Grandma’s house for Christmas. Nothing wrong with that.

Have one that is green that is older than me 47 that I can’t find the base for and it makes me mad. I love these and reminds me of my Mom and Dad R.I.P.

The Whataburger merch website is awesome for gag gifts. Almost got my wife this, but decided on the Christmas sweater instead.

Thanks for the tip. I got off work at five and already went to Hobby lobby. All their Christmas stuff is 50% off. I sprung for the 15 incher.

Cheaper and quicker than anything I could’ve ordered online.
