You didn't have to enter the mall to enter it? If so I think I remember it.

Closed down the one at Pecanland Mall more than twice.

ETA. One of the company's owners was drag racer Kenny Bernstein. His first shot at drag racing didn't pan out, so he wound up making a shitload of money from Chelsea St. Pubs.

It did have an outside entrance.

I remember it well. As well as the theater.

I am ancient.

think Monroe used to have one in pecanland mall. Remember to going to the movies and then going and watching people sing karaoke

That one was open up to the early 90s. Used to have live music. Sadly, I never saw karaoke there.

One in BR closed a few years before the.

It was a unique sort of chain.

Or the Larry K's Oyster Bar in Cortana and the infamous 1983 shooting between a regular and his waitress girlfriend.
She survived.

No you didn’t. Had a direct entrance outside and one inside if the Mall was still open.

I remember on a particular night of the week the place was raucous as hell.

I never went there though.

I saw Star Wars there as a kid. 1977. When the Storm Troopers and Darth Vader appeared boarding the ship, I got goosebumps. It’s the same feeling I got in Rouge One when Vadar appears to try and get the disc before the ship takes off. Felt like 1977.

The Pecanland Mall location was “the” place to be in the Mecca in the mid to late 90’s.

There would be a line 100 deep waiting hours to get that Fire & Ice.

Was the Chelsea St Pub of any relation to Chelsea's on State St, later under the Perkins overpass, and now on Nicholson as Chelsea's Live? I feel like it's lineage dates from a daquiri shop in Denham Springs? Just curious.
