I still stand by the fact that BR Catholic grads are snooty and think they the best.

It’s objectively one of the better academic high schools in Louisiana. It’s self enforcing though as it gets stronger students and then sends most of its graduates to college.

Maybe, but Baltimore probably is too, and the rest of the country is laughing at both of us.

Memphis is an interesting shithole

It’s like a big North Baton Rouge with stuff to do

I've always found Memphis to be pretty much just like another Nola with a better job market, worse food, but better suburbs, at least close suburbs.

Just go back. I don't mean that to be offensive or anything, but if you hate BR so much, go back to Nola.

I'm the opposite. We live 60 miles from Nola and if I never go there again I'd be fine with it. There are many places I'd prefer over here as well, but none of them are New Orleans. Different strokes and all.

Ok - I don’t take offense at what you said. We all have our different opinions. I never meant to offend you either.

Well, I guess I don't get it. You hate it here and love it 65 miles away. Go back there maybe

I'm not really trying to kick you out, but I'm worried about your happiness, and you live entirely too close to me with your Katrina - refugeeness

Baton Rouge and New Orleans are unique in that locals will ask “where did you go to school” and everyone knows they meant “what high school did you attend?

Might seem like this but you’ll find this happens in any medium to larger size city in the south. Promise.

it’s ok, fallguy

My yard is kept and not full of crap, so you’d never know I’m a Katrina evacuee, except I decorate for Mardi Gras.

My truck last got broken into in 1997, but I'll come looking for my detachable faced CD player if it happens tonight.
