That is impressive, but worthless for bragging. It is like bragging you benched 350 on a smith machine. In reality the machine helped you and you did not do it alone.
You only brag on the barbell exercises and then you only really brag when you make the 1,000 pound club.

We've been together before but it's rare.
It's not easy for me to workout with people because when I'm at the gym I usually have so many stimulants in my system that I'm only capable of beast mode. If I talk to people I'll sometimes talk super fast and get intense about mundane topics..so it's weird.
There are a few meatheads I talk to regularly that are funny dudes, but they have all kinds of shite in their system so they won't even notice that I'm on stims

My wife and I work out together on mwf mornings because we have a trainer. It's never going to cause a fight if we're both being told to push by a third party.

Maybe if its the Y and we don't see or speak to each other the whole time.
I don't workout a ton, but when I do I use it as a "mind clearing" exercise as much as a physical exercise. I want to forget about stress in my life and listen to music.

Only people I see using the smith machine are women and old people. I don't see many of them using the leg press.

That is my main reason. It's therapy. Many people talk about depression meds, but there is another way to get those endorphins released.

I'm typically in the gym around 5:00 AM, wife's not having any of that. She'll usually do some Jillian Michaels or something like that at the house in the evening.

My wife works out with me. Obviously, not the same weight and/or rep count. I told her the first rule is to not question why and no complaining. As far as being good foreplay? I dunno about that, her sweating and grunt isn't quite the same as sweating and grunting in the bedroom.

This, plus I would hate it. I am a powerlifter and would have to shed way to many plates for us to do anything on the same bench/rack/etc. Then, I would critique her form and that would be a fight so, frick that shite.

I workout with my SO a couple times a month...we have learned to take out our annoyances with each other at the gym instead of at home and that has helped our relationship and bodies all at the same time. The main reason why it is only a couple times a month is that a great life hack for getting a free gym workout is to request a guest pass. The gym I belong to only allows 3 days of guest passes each month. It works out for us because she likes to run in the neighborhood the majority of the time. So instead of paying for a family plan I have the gym membership and she uses goes to the gym 3 times a month!!!
