I watched the FBI remove an Iranian-American guy from a nuke plant because he was doing something with his salary in sending it to Iran that was illegal. He was going through a divorce as well. He was an executive and it wasn’t anything to do with spying.

That was pretty interesting to watch the FBI pull up in the black SUVs and go through our security to get him and leave.

Had a coworker a few years ago get perp walked. Heard he got 25 years for child porn.

Brilliant programmer, but obviously a perverted dumbass.

Working as deckhand, I noticed feds in boats surround us one day. They climbed on board (starboard side), and took our first class pilot away in cuffs. Turns out he had altered his Coast Guard license in order to work as a pilot for the NOBRSPA.

Not at work, but one time at this shitty Metairie strip club the bouncer came up to our table and said "you see that guy over there? He has a warrant and the police are about to bumrush him. Play it cool, ok?"

I thought he was fricking with us until I saw cops crawling the ground like Navy SEAL ninjas. Once they were in position, they pounced!

The poor girl giving that guy a lap dance was knocked off her table. Silicone flying everywhere.

Did he have his binder with him when they arrested him?

Yeah being an FBI field agent isn't anything secretive. It's quite possible that this person, if they did graduate from law school and passed the bar exam, could still technically be a lawyer but not practicing. The field is so saturated it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to do something else. Having a law degree in the FBI would probably open up a lot of avenues for advancement later on

The FBI had some recruiting days at the tax law program at UF, they also do recruiting in accounting programs. They like people who can follow the money

A law degree is one of the more common paths to FBI investigation.

About 15 years ago I was arrested at work for, no shite, a $40 late fee at a video rental store. I guess the store pressed charges and the MP's came to my job, arrested me, and turned me over to the local police.

Yep. I'm friends with a lady who is a forensic accountant for them. She gets interviewed from time to time after they bust companies/politicians and such on bigger cases.

She's pretty damn hot and it does a little something for me when she post pictures of her shooting guns at the range when he has to go for her training.

One of my frat brothers did this. Graduated with a degree in history, taught history in a high school for a couple of years, went to law school, and joined the FBI. Last I heard he was living in the Seattle area and was counting down to his retirement.

More than a few FBI agents have law degrees. That isn't unheard of by an means.

You'd be surprised at the number of medical doctors who are FBI agents as well.

was working in Fourchon. ICE showed up. Two ways out one by land and the other, it was a good thing that tank cleaners could swim.

I used to work with a guy who was in the national guard and one day two MPs came in and the guy left with the MPs...I think he missed a drill weekend or something like that but cant remember exactly.

I've never heard of someone getting arrested by MPs for missing a drill weekend. I have a friend who was in the Marine Reserves that just quit going for over a year. His unit got activated and sent to Iraq, his commander called him a little less than 24hrs before they left and told him to report or he'd go to jail. Though I guess the commander of the NG unit might've just been a stickler for rules.

In J. Edgar Hoover's FBI you had to be a lawyer or a CPA. That started changing in the seventies.

SO's brother is a now-retired FBI agent. The most emotionally shut down person I have ever been around. His career did a number on him.
