Always draw a trashy clientele. So do 5 day cruises. RCCL is better overall than Carnival b/c the price keeps most of the trash out. However, the short cruises are nothing but trash.

We did a 9 day alaskan cruise a month ago. We did many cruises out of galvaston with kids. Night and day difference. Mostly older people going to alaska...a few kids here and there, but none of the drunken nonsense you see with the caribbean cruises.
