In Little Rock with a wind chill of -11 and currently 7 degrees. My mom flew in from NOLA today and it was bumper cars all over the interstate trying to get home. Watched cars slam into barriers and eachother bc within an hour the overpasses turned to ice sheets.
Made it home with hot Chinese takeout, a mom, and three happy grandkids who ripped into presents while drinking hot chocolate by the fire as Home Alone was on in the background. Colder than anything I’ve ever felt before, even when I went skiing. Grateful for electricity blasting this warm air. The air outside is a level of cold that’ll chill you to the bone.
Made it home with hot Chinese takeout, a mom, and three happy grandkids who ripped into presents while drinking hot chocolate by the fire as Home Alone was on in the background.
