There are only three things I remember about watching the ESPYs:
1. Jimmy V's speech
2. Norm's opening monologue
3. Devery Henderson accepting the Play of the Year award for the Bluegrass Miracle
All of those moments are at least 20 years old. I have no idea who actually watches it anymore.

As a kid, I loved it. Great highlights of the best plays and best teams of the year with my favorite players.

Nope. WTF did the USWNT do besides getting their asses kicked by a bunch of old men? That's "courage"? The ESPYs were great for the first decade but it's nothing more than a sports version of the Oscars with everyone sucking each others woke dicks off.

ABC/ESPN puts college national championships on ESPN, but they put their stupid awards show on ABC. Kinda tells you what they know about ESPN and the viewers desire for their awards show ... Both are undesirable.

I have it on. I don't put much stock into it. There was some chick that was just doing the opening to something for Lebron James and was saying "there is no argument to be made he is the best to ever do it".
frick the argument "who is better? MJ or Lebron?" if you ask me "Who is better? Kobe or Lebron?" I would pick Kobe. Lebron lacks what MJ & Kobe has.. Killer instinct. When they got on the court they were locked in. They wanted to win every game and when the playoffs started they found away to elevate their game even more.
Lebron has 4 rings. Two of them he had to put together a super team in Miami. The 3rd he had Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. If Kyrie wasn't a fricking moron he could be in the discussion for one of the best.. And then he has a ring from 2020 which should have an * by it since it was the Covid year where the season was put on hold and the NBA went into a bubble to play a shortened rest of the season.
