I got some of these and the lady who tailored them for me in the store told me to go home, soak them in cold water, and put them on until they dried. Essentially creating a mold of my body/legs. Then don't wash them for a very long time and when you do, in cool water by hand with safe detergents.
The website from the company you bought them says to wash them as you see fit, including in the washing machine, and even to tumble dry them if necessary.
Not washing jeans with any regularity feels ultra tryhard.

While this may prompt noises of disgust from those are less-then-enamoured by the idea of walking around in dirty clothes, Mr Bergh explained that he "spot cleans" any stains with a toothbrush.
Do you guys never sweat your nuts off from time to time in jeans? Then you just leave your bootie and nut sweat in there to fester indefinitely?

yes, unless you are Jack Reacher, then you wear them a few days, buy a pair at Goodwill and toss the old ones in the can.

Are you hearing this from your podnas in Starks?
Posted on 6/10/24 at 11:15 pm to SaintlyTiger88
Unless I get something on them I have a 3 day rule. Jeans don’t get washed till I’ve wore them 3 days.

You want them smelling like arse? Good on you but I'll throw mine in the laundry.
Posted on 6/10/24 at 11:40 pm to The Cool No 9
It's not the smell of "arse"
That's the denim curing, takes several years, most of y'all have thrown your garbage jeans out and bought new ones by that time, and you've washed them to hell and back every time. You'll never experience finely cured denim, not that you care, you'll never smell that distinctive 'tang". Pathetic.

See, super try-hard.

You can’t get killer fades if you wash them.
This. Virtually nobody here has a clue what OP was alluding to.
He should've put a before and after pic of raw denim in the OP.

Not the best, I just threw my current pair up on the table (had to hit a spot with a wet toothbrush). Fades:

I’m in my late 40s with three daughters under the age of 10. I am well past the point of making a fashion statement or buying any expensive clothing for myself
