As long as its just me and the boys hanging out, Honky is a term of endearment. However, if anyone else says it, man oh man. It's offensive as frick! Like, where do they get the nerve to use that term just because they hear me and my friends using it. They don't know what it was like growing up on nothing but dirt roads, where the farm fields were miles long and houses were sparse.

Doesnt bother me at all, im married to a Hispanic woman and get called gringo all the time. Its mostly a jealousy thing. They know I have a higher IQ and make a lot more money than they do. Im also married to what would be considered the upper echelon of Latinas. Most of it is jealousy of success.
