Omicron…funny how all the MSM had an article of propaganda in the breach ready to fire the morning post Thanksgiving, kinda tells you all you need to know. When the two major modes of propaganda in the state of Mo., the KC Star & Post-Dispatch have a front page story this morning it’s a pre-planned attack on Christmas. Personally, I’m highly anticipating the Alpha & Omega variant HE would do this toilet a world of good.

Unless you're close to retirement, buy.

If it never bounces back you're screwed anyway.

They’re just justifying the wrong decision to keep interest rates low and print more money.

Enjoy the hyperinflation.

U.S. stocks suffered from some of the biggest single-day declines of the year on Friday as a new, media hype over a fast-spreading COVID-19 variant detected in South Africa triggered fresh fears that a resurgent coronavirus could scuttle the global economy's recovery from the pandemic.

No doubt it's down because of tax loss selling, not because of some media narrative. People and institutions who bought growth at highs early in the year are now down and are selling to realize losses on their taxes. It happens every year but is worse this year because growth was at ridiculous highs early in the year.

And because of wash sale rules that mean you can't realize losses if you buy back in within 30 days, tax loss selling happens in November so institutions can buy back in after the first of the year.

I checked my portfolio and even after today there aren't a lot of compelling buys. Some decent deals but nothing I feel I have to chase.

Shows how much house money we have.

This does seem more believable.

Yeah. I picked up Shell who was down 9%. They pay dividends so I’m looking forward to the steady rise back to last weeks numbers.
