He lucked into all of those companies. He in no way had any thought process in creating them. There was no plan or synergy between all of his companies. It is pure luck that every business he has started will be needed to put people on mars. Electric vehicles for a planet with no fossil fuel. Deep drilling equipment to build underground bases. Solar panels for electricity. Spaceships to get there and satellites to communicate. Nope no synergy within all of his businesses for space exploration and colonization. He is just a moron.

Oh..... sometimes folks are unable to grasp sarcasm. This is it.

I think that puts him higher than Rockefeller’s peak on relative terms.

It’s absolutely mind boggling to think about how different our lives are from someone that wealthy.

That kind of wealth is lost on the vast majority. There is almost nothing he doesn't have access to. It's really hard to wrap your head around. Imagine almost nothing is beyond reach. Want to have lunch with Putin? Just let him know. If you get to the level of being ABLE to run for POTUS, you want Elon to have your personal cell number and the ability to call 24/7. Want to eat an 7 course meal prepared my the world's best chef, on the SOUTH POLE? What time do you want to eat, is the next question!

Here's the thing about him that sets him apart to me. I haven't took the time, or even had the inclination to even look into what he personally owns as far as property and luxury items. I do know Bezos has a massive yacht. Zuckerburg is pretty much buying a Hawaiian island. All the super rich have the most exotic cars, homes, boats, etc..... I just don't even remember seeing or hearing about any super extravagant concerning Elon. I am confident that he does probably have personal security that our Secret Service is jealous of.

SpaceX will become "too essential" to national interest and will be nationalized

If that were the case, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, etc would have been nationalized long time ago.

Good show man, people still won't get it. This dude's wealth isn't an anomaly, he's the first human to fully grasp where the future is going and fully exploiting it to boot with no apology. His wealth isn't stopping at trillionaire, he may end up having more wealth than the rest of humanity combined if they dont collaborate to legislate the impossibility of that reality. He isn't even operating in the same plane as the rest of the world. He may monopolize space immigration in his lifetime. Imagine the possibility of that statement.

Elon Musk is so rich that he could pay for:

- tuition-free public college
- universal childcare
- close the cap to fund universal school meals
- paid sick leave
- ending homelessness
- ending hunger
- UBI of $1250 for every adult

...and he'd still be a billionaire.

I love how Elon should personally pay for everyone else’s childcare, sick leave, meals, etc.

And my favorite part is “ending homelessness.” Money ends all homelessness. Who knew.

They absolutely do. And if you tell them it's almost all stock they will think it doesn't matter since he can supposedly sell it all at its current price.

I also never see a timeframe for being able to pay all the teachers salaries or food for every hungry person.

Is it for one year? One month? A minute?

Obviously its not forever and ever.
