It is reaching a point that I can't take it anymore. Social media has destroyed the world. Stupidity, ignorance, arrogance, being offended, etc. are all celebrated now. The world is going to have to reset itself before too long to purge the disease that has become humanity. There needs to be another plague to wipe out like half to 2/3 of the population

Wow. Someone needs to smoke a bowl and chill.

Exactly. It's just accepted as the norm. The average adult American male has a protruding gut, and he just buys bigger pants as the damn thing continues to grow. It's disgusting.

They are changing the cut of clothing to accomodate the obesity trend. I bought a new pair of slacks, same exact brand and size as I bought a year ago. I weigh the same and am the same waist size as last year, but the new pants are noticeably looser on me. I'm no adonis, but I'm in decent shape and eat right most of the time, and it's getting harder to find clothes that fit me decently.

If you’ve ever been pretty fat you’ll appreciate just how difficult it is to become a land whale. I lived about an unhealthily as a person can do my final two years of undergrad and gained about 30 pounds. I’d have to do that shite for a few more years before I matched some of those beasts. How people don’t wake up sooner blows my mind.

And unfortunately there is no common ground.

Either someone is obsessive over looking great to the point of narcissism or they just dont give a shite and do nothing.

The days of the bell curve being where most people are decent shape and moderately shaped are over.

Something difficult to "deal with it". No, im nothing close to fat. But I see many daily. Cut the carbs--cokes, sweets, pastas, white rice, breads. Moderation is lost on society.

I'm a 31W and I have an actual arse. Between the skinny jeans made for the nassatalls and the denim tents made for fatties, jean shopping has become an exercise in futility for me.

Fortunately I live in Miami.

Obesity rate in Louisiana 36%. Miami Dade 23%. Pretty significant difference. Colorado is the lowest in the US at 20%.

I can attest to this as I lived there for awhile and noticed that there was a significant drop in fattyasses around. Lots of good poon up there too. Real slutty types.

If this really bothers you, make the commitment to move to DC. We're not fat and we dress well (most of us )

Recently went to my brothers marine graduation. I was shocked at how fat all the parents were.
And the majority of them were from the north west.

The worst thing is when the parents feed their kids the same crap and cause them to be whales by middle school

Processed food, fast food, lack of cooking skills taught to kids, eating in front of a screen, etc. Our country is a walking disaster. I think food stamps should only be allowed to be spent on fresh foods. I’m perfectly fine with imposing fax taxes on fast food. Advertised portions should be whatever is in the damned package (not a snickers being 4 portions or whatever. Reintroduce PE, recess, and after school programs. Add sidewalks everywhere. Just some ideas
