No you can't.
Men WILL date down and even commit down, if she's nice/kind enough. Women in our day? Tinder and the other apps.' own analytics tell us differently.

It has nothing to do with monetary value and job prospects, unlike men.
For women, dating down applies to economic and social components.

Holy shite that is depressing. I hope I never have to get back in the dating pool. Anyway is it still possible to do it the old fashioned way? Go up to a female you are attracted to and just start a conversation? That is how I used to do it. That seems like it would be easier than going through an app that mostly looks like terrible women. I would rather get rejected by a woman I am at least attracted too than have to put up with that.

They do not anymore, UNLESS, you are a "high-value" man. If you are not, if you are short, not particularly handsome or attractive, then you are creepy and the "me, as well" women will cancel you or go after your job.
Remember women have rules for dating/copulating with men they see as marriage material/betas/providers. They do NOT have rules for men that they find hot, the Chads, Tyrones, Jesuses, who get their way in the bedroom.

Stop thinking this is a hard rule and stop letting women intimidate you. Try going into the real world and talking to women and they're not nearly as hot shite as they make themselves seem on dating apps. They have power over you because you can't see past the false image they attempt to project. It's all BS.

Everyone mellows a lot as they get into their 30s and 40s. Eventually women and men with too high of standards have to make some decisions about that time. Regardless of the influence of online dating sites. It’s just the law of averages.
