State Farm, if you give them the homeowners and life policies...the Big 3 are competetive is you bundle, IMO.

I dropped Geico after 15 years, loyalty is not rewarded.

Mine on two vehicles with Progressive Insurance just went up, but only 7.4%. We are both 60 or older with perfect driving records.

States and cities shutting down for two weeks to flatten the curve for two years started this ride

Am an attorney in the industry. Buckle your seatbelt, as it's only going to get worse for the foreseeable future. Inflation, vehicle part price increases, new vehicle cost increases, part backorders leading to longer rental periods, customers not paying premium during covid are all adding up to major losses across the board in the insurance industry. It will take a couple of years before things level out.

Insurance rates are different for everyone. Geico has consistently been by far the lowest for me. I have been with them around 13 years. I just paid my renewal two weeks ago and shopped around. Geico beat everyone by 300plus dollars. Dont know why, but they are consistently the lowest for me!

Amazing time to total a car though. I was in an accident a month ago and got $7000 more than I paid for the car 2 years ago.

Mine went up $70/month and I switched yesterday when I got my new bill for the next 6 months. So I’m now below what it was before. But I did sign up for the app for a discount with the drive monitor. But I don’t brake hard or pick up my phone while driving.

EVERYTHING is up. 8% my fricking arse by the way.

Doesn't help when companies aren't giving out raises or cost of living increases at typical 3%-4% rate.

Everyone better strap in.

You might find a better deal, but they are going up across the board.

But will still offer deep discounts for new customers.

Customer loyalty is a dead concept.

Yes! Rate went down too. Not by much but it still went down. 1298 to 1285 for six month policy.

Can you show your math on this?

we are good drivers with no accidents. The past several years our rates have remained steady. All of a sudden we get a 25% increase with Geico. I told them we are likely going to drop them because they said the only way we can get a further discount is by installing driving habit trackers on our phones
So accept the driving trackers if you are good drivers. I don't see a problem.
