I thought he did a great job. Saw it last Sunday (first time seeing the production) and we loved it. My daughter has been singing "not gonna loose my shot" non stop.

It's ok to have no idea what you're talking about. Just try to talk less when that's the case.

A couple of years ago, I had a young co-worker try to push the soundtrack on me, it was absolutely horrible sounding. I've seen the Puerto Rican on television trying to promote this show in a effort to equate the life of a someone of Western European descent to the menagerie of mongrels who have now populated the United States. I can usually identify fans of this drivel as ones with very low intellect or attention spans which are usually synonymous.

Was that before or after he shot Hamilton's arse?

I would be more focused on his stance on illegal immigrants myself.

It's like a virtue signalling free for all in this thread.

Reasonable people can disagree about whether it deserves the level of hype it has received, but only the truly ignorant posit that the hype comes solely, or even primarily, from the diversity of its cast.

My wife and I saw the original cast in NYC. One of my favorite plays in at least a decade though Mormon is close.

Pretty sure the quote is

“Immigrants...we get the job done”

It’s pretty easy to tell who hasn’t seen the musical. Lots of dumbshit in this thread.

He didn't say "illegal immigrants", did he?

It’s a play. It’s a musical. It’s got to be boring and gay.

King George made me want a whole show about him.
It was a funny representation.

That’s definitely appropriate

Sadly, that is very nice for the theatrical presentations at the Saenger today. I've seen Brees jersey's and flip flops. Shorts and t-shirts are common.

It is, and it was said by Lafayette.

Pretty much all of the virtue signalling is coming from "conservatives" on this one. Liking a musical isn't virtue signalling; claiming to hate a musical you have never seen is virtue signalling

Except for the part where they made one of the founding fathers into a black guy.

I'll look forward to the play where they make Obama into a white guy in 200 years, just for fun.

Christopher Jackson as Washington is a national treasure.

Maybe I should have added a trigger warning for you...

I have been a season ticket holder for 4 -5 years and have never seen shorts and t-shirts for adults.
