Yep. Real fun. Own your own business and make a lot of money to pay for other people’s shite.

Need more models like the Health/Wellness clinic I see. $60 a month and you can go as much as you need. Just have to pay cost of any lab work done.

Pay a small monthly fee for s providers service, then pay actual costs of labs/x rays, done. Not the overly inflated price hospitals bill for

I wish I could just do catastrophic insurance.

Isn’t that sort of the point of high deductible plans?

I need to email our HR guy and see why this happened. I just went back and looked and we didn’t have an increase last September. I guess our company could have ate the increase until June. I don’t think they would have overlooked it last September.

In 2016, Trump and the GOP had control of the House and the Senate. Trump wanted to kill Obamacare but neither he or his allies in Congress had a replacement plan. It was trust us, repeal it and we will have something better in 2 weeks. Never happened.

GOP is best at throwing stones and making up cute little nicknames. Not so good when it comes to actually working and creating a new plan that might just attract bi-partisan support.

It's just the same story.

Democrats have some plan to help poor people that can only pass if the money comes from everyday working people and not corporate shareholder profits.

Republicans blame the poor people for any problem while working to tweak the legislation so that more of the working people's taxes can increase corporate shareholder profits.

It's just extra sickening to watch with healthcare, considering the vast fortunes that are made in the industry.

No clue. It went up June 01($100), and now set for another $100 hike starting Sept. 01.

It's your plan. Your money. Ask questions.

All insurance is horrendous! You're just betting that nothing happens, and when it does you get little return... Something needs to be done!

Get a high deductible plan for healthy person

Open HSA

Put money in HSA and use as needed

Invest money in HSA greater than your rainy day fund. I keep $5K liquid in mine for any emergencies while investing the rest.

It’s insane that most of the modern world can provide good affordable health care while this country only seems to concern itself with the insurance companies making insane profits.

Didn't Nancy tell us that Obamacare needed to be passed in order to find out what is in the bill.

Well, we've all found out.

Wife and me had a little girl last year. First time we’ve had a child together that was born in the US. Our insurance for us at the time was around $1100 per month. My wife was under the impression this insurance would cover all the costs of the childbirth. You can imagine her surprise when we received a letter saying we owed $35k after insurance paid their part.

Then if you use it the deductible is so high you end up paying for the services too.

I have large group insurance through my employer.

Before Obama it was about ($450.00 per month) I paid $150.00 of it and had a 1500 deductible, 80/20 copay etc etc

Post Obama - $1200.00+ per month my company pays about 5K a year (they let us know) my part is $375.00 monthly

Here's the kicker - we now have a $5,000.00 deductible so it doesn't pay anything until that, I've eaten a couple of $4,600.00 $5,000 bills in the past few years

The more people on Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare subsidies, the higher everyone insurance cost will be. The government screws us to pay for everyone else.

Due to an accounting error, my employer pays my 1k a month portion.

I brought it up four times for them to fix it. Nothing.

Not my problem now.

No deductible. It’s a BCBS 100/70. It’s a great plan, but I just pay out the arse for it.
