You know, even IF you are right. I’d rather die next year than tonight.

For those who think heard immunity is the answer, are you willing to sacrifice/lose a parent for monetary sacrifices/temporary life style changes?

I’ve personally seen this virus kill more people in one day than I normally do in one months time.

We need time for modern medicine and research to discover more about this virus we know very little about.

I have no political agenda. I’m about as right wing as they come.

Does anyone else not give a frick if covid takes out 1/4 of society? This whole situation has made me realize how worthless most human beings are. No one looks out for each other, everybody wants to fight about the politics, we aren't even kind...I am ready for this thing to wipe out this society and start over.

That is my parents decision, not mine. They can choose to stay home for the next 2 years.
Probably die from pneumonia or heart attack if they do that.

They would also take the sacrifice if it meant their grandchildren did not have to endure bread lines and great depression levels of unemployment... which is where we are headed with another round of shut it down

I’m not advocating another shut down. Poverty kills, no doubt. I don’t pretend to know statistics or epidemiology. I can say what I’ve seen and it is horrible. people dying alone. Fortunately no comparison to March locally. And it’s going to continue until people face the facts.

Screw the media for pushing an agenda.

But There is a middle ground. Until data proves Mitigation measures- masks, distancing etc aren’t useful, we are no where near ready to have 108k people in tiger stadium.

Maybe the Kung Flu Doomers can explain this chart to me....

Nearly 3/4 of deaths are 65 or above. Of the over 11,000 deaths 65 or older in NYC by May 13, 2020 (near or right after virus peak, at its worse location in USA), nearly 8,000 confirmed had confirmed underlying conditions and another 2,200 were unknown. A grand total of 7 of those above 65 died without underlying conditions.

44 or below only made up 3.96% of the deaths.

WorldMeters

I realize this isn’t comprehensive of the “pandemic” but this is a pretty damning chart for such a “deadly” disease from the most hit area at the most hit time...

I would like to see how many people died in LA from all causes last March,April and May and compare it to the same months this year. If we are in a true pandemic shouldn't it be way higher? Can't seem to find that info anywhere.I suspect that the death rate from heart attacks, strokes, lung disease and most other causes are down except maybe suicide?

Well I saw on another board, that someone’s momma had a heart attack in Jackson, and they sent her to Hattiesburg..state of MS said the 5 largest hospital ICUs were full...is this a conspiracy down to the local level?

I see this article too. You ever see which hospitals it was in particular? I have family in healthcare in Hattiesburg and on the coast and they are confused by this claim...
