yeah i mean, it shows people who obviously need to be tested are much more likely to go and be tested, which isn't a bad thing

the advocate is nothing but turtle heads(JBE)mouthpiece. It's really simple. If they can keep the numbers up, we continue to get more federal dollars and the inept governor can continue to restrict and use his powers for our "best interest"

That's what i gathered from that stupid article.
Sounds like Livingston is the truest representation of this china flu in the state.
Can they maybe do a little more research and let us know how the death rate in Livingston is, or maybe how their hospitals are?

You know the answer to that because it wasn't in the article.

Why get tested if you aren't feeling sick?

People don't GAF about the China SuperFlu anymore.

Why is "missing a lot of cases" a problem?
We're all gonna get the RONA or a mutation.

Testing doesn't matter..and they hate that.
Nobody is dying and no one is sick....thats all that counts.

Federal dollars drying up for them. They NEED positive tests

Yeah who just sits around and goes, “I’m bored. Let’s go sit in a line and get tested for an illness we don’t feel we have today”

Exactly!! Why go get tested if you don’t have a reason to. It’s like they want people to make getting tested as part of their normal daily routine.

Maybe getting tested is the way that they’re implanting us with the microchips. Not the vaccine. Oh shite I might have stumbled on something.

If she were grading the parish, “I’d give them a C-minus to a D,” Hassig said. “They’re above 10% (percent positivity), and they’ve been consistently above 10% for a very long time.

This is keeping visitors from nursing homes
My Grandpa got his 2nd vaccination over 2 weeks ago yet we still cannot visit because of the parish has a positivity rate over 10%

Testing for the sake of testing makes a lot of sense.
The Advocate is such a rag and it's laughable they call themselves "journalists" as if they are giving truth and insight to BR.

The way I see it is if only around 10% of those tested, that’s a good number. That means around 90% of people that think they have symptoms test negative. I thought CDC put out guidelines only get tested if you feel you have symptoms. Time to open back up 100%. I had a bad case of covid, but I am in the small percentage of healthy people that had it bad.

Maybe they should start understanding why some get it worse. Those people should be the ones that take precautions.

It's always been a casedemic. If we take away the data of positive test results only, COVID becomes just another seasonal flu.

Why go get tested if you aren't feeling bad?

Do they want folks to get tested every three days or something? I get that there are asymptomatic cases, but there's no way in hell I'd be going to sit in line to get a test if I'm not having symptoms. frick that.

I got tested because work told me to based on being in contact with someone. One of the folks at work had been tested 4 times saying “it’s a good idea to go get tested every few weeks just in case”. What?

If I’m not symptomatic or wasn’t in immediate contact with someone who tested positive then I don’t see any reason why I should.
