Why does it have to be your grandfather. Couldn't it be called the father paradox, and you just kill your father?
Wouldn't you want to go far enough back to shoot for a great-great grandfather or something.
It would feel less weird than killing my pops and grandfathers who I actually got to know and love.

I believe existence to be fractal, each instance having multiple possibilities and each possibility occurring in the multiverse. Therefore "time travel" could be just revisiting prior instances and making a different choice, following a road that still existed whether or not you went down it.

If a baby is born one month premature, at his 1st birthday he is 11 months(.92 years) old, at his second birthday he is 22 months(1.83 years), 33 months(2.74 years), 44 months(3.66 years) etc.
He is getting younger with each passing year. He is traveling in time. He is................a future baby!
Mind = Fricked

Is there anyway that the grandfather paradox could work? If you are unaware about the GP, it is the idea that in time travel, you go back and kill your grandfather before he makes your dad, thus preventing you from being born, which in turn prevents you from even killing him in the first place.
The many universes theory suggests this is possible. Each point in time creates an infinite number of parallel time lines. You could theoretically travel back in time and change the past without eliminating you existence; you'd be in a parallel timeline/universe. Think 1985B in BttF Part II.

That doesn't make any sense. The time in between birthdays would still be 12 months...

You should travel back a few minutes and rethink this.

Infinitely splitting universes covering all possible timelines.

If you clear your mind and just let it come to you. It makes total sense.
