The doctor is pasty white, the black woman worked at some point for the city of Houston. She's a white preacher's wife.

The issue is not that the black woman in the OP, and the white doctor that was fired, had these evil thoughts. Lots of people have evil thoughts.
The issue is that they felt safe enough, and confident enough, to actually voice and share these evil thoughts on a world-wide public forum.
That tells me that within their circles, these ideas are common and accepted and they saw no issue posting them. They are likely surprised at the backlash.
It will be interesting to see how lasting the stain is on them. My bet is they will be gainfully employed with no problems within 6 months. It sucks, but they will be insulated after the heat dies down.

I don’t doubt the “community organizer” will find some bullshite gig.
The doctor on the other hand may have a harder time. She was tied into Memorial Hermann and they already made a statement about her.
