If you actually live in Houston or Dallas, here’s my take:

Houston - good down home people, great art and theatre, great restaurants. Very corporate, old school culture.

Dallas - very pretentious, lot of $30,000/year millionaires, people dress nice, and have a lot of nice things, not a lot of identity.

If you live in a suburb of either, they’re basically the same.

Dallas is a much prettier city. Houston is dirty.

I prefer the food in Houston and it’s easier to get back to NOLA

North Dallas/Ft Worth suburbs can not be beat for raising a family.
Bawcomville & Bogalusa would beg to differ.

i like both but if i had to choose and friends/family were not playing a part....would be dallas.

slightly less crime in the dallas area, dallas is a little cleaner etc

the burbs for both blow away anything in LA thats for sure.

I have lived in both for multiple years. Houston is better if you don’t mind the humidity.

Dallas & it’s not close: better looking women, better climate, better downtown, better suburbs.

Having lived in both Houston (actually in Spring) and in Dallas (actually Addison), I much prefer the BigD.
