She needs to live in the city. Friendswood/Clear Lake etc areas are nice, but for families. She should live in montrose/upper kerby/midtown/heights for a year or two before thinking of moving to the burbs.

Clear Lake would be a cool place for someone right out of college to find an apartment and it would be very close to League City. Other than that, I would find a place inside the Loop and reverse commute like you said. At that age, living in the burbs would suck.

I drive from downtown to Willowbrook area but I'm against traffic. Also walk to minute maid park

There’s a few nice apts behind the LA Fitness there that I had looked at a couple a of years ago. Can’t remember the name of the street, it may be league city parkway.

What are the best places for her to rent an apartment
Southside is legit.

What are some other priorities? What kind of area does she want to be in?
She has some friends that live in the city. The job is located in the Space Center. I am ignorant regarding commute times from place to place.
Shift work will be involved so just wanted to make sure she is ok when getting in late and leaving super early

Stay north of Dickinson, south of Webster, west of Bacliff, and she should be good. Theres a couple apartments in the Seabrook area that appear nice but are actual shitholes.
<- Grew up in that area, graduated from Clear Creek

Midtown, and have her reverse commute. She'll be bored out of her mind as a recent graduate living in League City.
This
Door to door is probably 45 minutes. Which blows but assuming she likes to go to bar or on a date, she will be in Houston every Friday and Saturday

Daughter and son-in-law lived in the The Towers of Seabrook until they just recently purchased a home. Visited a few times and found it to be nice.

Do you really want her living in the same metro as owlie?
Posted on 7/3/19 at 1:08 pm to Pedro
I just have to trust that I have raised her well enough.

If she wants to live in the city midtown, eado and museum district areall great options, BUT I wouldn't really call any of them safe at odd hours. Lots of homeless drug addicts in these areas.
