One represents progress.. the other doesn't.
Also, there's definitely been screaming that AI is going to take our jobs.

Elon Musk is mass producting robots while AI companies are building warehouses to fill with massive AI brains.
The price of Ram is doubling... you tell me?
In 10 years time you will see robots all over the place that are capable of emulating humans almost perfectly.
These movies they have been making are designed to normalize our brains to the idea of it so we don't freak out.

AI can give you almost any information you ask it to give you.
No, it can give you any information that is already public knowledge. It scraps from the Internet.
Because they have no of morals and can lie with the best of scoundrel. It's simply a speedy parroting of whatever they find...
...and that's not intelligence.

I'm doubtful about loading human consciousness into robots but I believe AI will give them more power than we expect.

It’s not next lol
We are so far off from even understanding what consciousness is.

It doesn't lie. It's aggregating the consensus. If enough people go online today and say without pushback that Brad Pitt has died, AI will present it as fact.

its their end game I should say.
AI just regurgitates info its fed, but what if that info is controlled by a group of people?
I believe the anti christ will be artificial intelligence.

The entire premise of the BSG re-boot, but organic clones.
It's just a matter of time.

eta: (or falsehood)
You missed the morals part: it passes misinformation, lies, damn lies, as well as cutting edge truths, and obscure knowledge.... it's just happen this can be both lies and truths.

I think we are very close
And I believe this is what the Bible is referring to when it says “ And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them”
Our elites are obsessed with living forever and will do anything to obtain it and this is where it is headed
It’s satanic

I'm on record as saying it cannot be done, but it makes good science fiction.
Turing Evolved by David Kitson is a science fiction novel about an ex-military pilot who becomes involved with advanced AI androids, exploring themes of humanity, free will, and love between humans and machines, set in a future where virtual reality and AI are central to society.
It used to be, maybe still is, available free on Amazon as an ebook.

Whatever you say man.
I remember when my grandparents thought cells phones, social media, and Venmo would be the mark of the beast. It’s all so silly and not worth worrying about.

I also remember when people thought that stuff wouldnt exist and here we are.
There has to he a climax at some point. What is the end game of technology?
Did you think they'd have electric cars 10 years ago?

uploading human consciousness into robots is next
Next when? Decade? Century? Millennium? Not sure some of you quite grasp how vast the technological leaps on raw processing power we would have to achieve to even think about doing this. We can't even model weather accurately beyond a few days with some of the most powerful super computers on Earth dedicated to the task. A Human brain? That's many orders in magnitude more difficult.

What we have done in 200 years is monumental

Yet another indication that we’re moving closer to the fulfillment of the end times.

The movie Terminator is a premonition, not a fictional work of art.
