One of my good friends from high school fell for scam where some guy was selling a crotch rocket for a too good to be true price. He western unioned the guy a few thousand and that was that. Someone told me he was getting roasted on this message board so I joined to jump in on the roasting...this was around 2004

Started looking for an SEC board in 2021 when I heard we were joining the conference. Wanted to learn more about SEC culture and find some good fan/posters too interact with. Found some.

I would listen to my FIL explain some thing that was going on in the LSU world and I would say "that doesn't sound right" and he would say "well it was on Tiger Droppings". So I started reading the rant, and I realized he was listening to idiots. And now I'm an idiot, and I am proud of myself for it.

Several years ago, did a Google search regarding a local school official who got busted for inappropriate relations with a student. I was wondering if the rumors I heard about it were being reported anywhere. One of the top search results were an OT posting. I was amused by all the circle jerking going on over her 10+ year old photo (she didn't age well in real life), that I hung around, read other threads and was hooked.
