I'm sure that once the prospective employer realized you were such a dick and incapable of handling such a menial task as taking/passing a piss test without a hitch, you probably weren't worth hiring anyway. You sound like someone that feels like the world is against you. It's a pretty undesired quality in a prospective employee.

I was already offered the job and signed a contract. The lady liked me enough to tell them to give me a 2nd test even though it is against policy. She emailed me saying this: Thank you for calling and processing what transpired… HR is advising them to move forward with the test.

Work test = not normal
Military /athlete = normal for someone to watch you piss. It's still always awkward but you do what you have to do.

Conoco was watching me piss in 1984.
Seriously, a person I don't recognize wakes me up in the middle of the night and tells me "you need to pee". I was a relatively new guy on the drillship, so my first thought was that this was just a little more of the "haze the new guy" stuff that went on offshore back then. Finally, the guys were able to explain that they were from Conoco's Safety Dept and they were conducting random samples. They watched me fill the cup and I went back to bed. All done in about 90 seconds...
It may have been an inavasion of my personal privacy, but I considered it the price of having a decent job and I had nothing to hide.

I had a screen today for school. If you are nice to them and comply they don't have an issue with you. But I've seen people get attitudes and piss off the wrong people.
