Not my thing, but this seems right up Gaston's alley for some reason.

The matte gray looks like primer to me.

Same. Not a fan. I think it's ugly as all get out. But I respect people have different tastes on their paint finishes, so if they want it more power to 'em. I think it's awful.

Probably keeps down the fine, superficial scratches that the typical Kia buyers always get…

If you back up a second and ask yourself: why do we drive cars with high polish through the hell that is American roadways? It's almost as if the car manufacturers decided many decades ago to create something that would make the car feel "old" after some chipping, fading, etc?
If matte holds up better I'm for it. I don't hate it.

Since you brought it up, Kia blows away Range Rover in customer satisfaction surveys.
But maybe you like paying shite tons so you can keep up with your rich neighbors.

I've seen some that I like but not that brown color

Still cool.
The sticks will be sought after, but the autos will out-acceleratre a M5 Comp, bur not out-corner it.

Yeah, so? It's about involvement. Controlling a machine. Just mashing the pedal to the floor and letting a slushbox do all the work is no fun.

Look like crap.
Once upon a time hot rodders primed with gray and black while they saved their money for a paint job.
Some still prime and some now spray clear over the rust.
Why buy a new car that looks like Fred was taking a nap when the car rolled into the spray booth.
A passing fad

Wasn't meant as a critical comment, my 911 is auto. ETA, and it is quicker than the stick.
Racecar is stick.
I think those cars are excellent and likely to be collectible. Sticks are rarer, so even more so.

I was not a fan but they are starting to grow on me as I get used to them.
