I think people get their feelings hurt a lot when their s/o doesn't want to have sex. They arent saying they dont want to have sex with you. They are saying they dont want to have sex.

My wife does the exact same thing.
It doesn't matter what me or she is doing. She will just say in the most straight voice, "do you want to have sex".
I'm not complaining. I love having a wife with a high sex drive.

She'll start making sexual innuendos, which is otherwise out of character for her. Eventually, it'll graduate to rubbing my chest. She was much bolder about it in her younger days.
