Had a major surgery in October 2024. Had tons of follow up visits and testing (regular doctor, heart doctor, vascular doctor). Given my commute and “return to office” requirements, we more or less have to take at least 4 hours for any appt. Was actually sick a total of 4 days.

Damn, do you have time to have a life outside of work?
Im salary and work 30-40 hours a week. Love all the free time I've had over the years to spend with my kids. I feel lucky to have a high paying job that doesnt require any overtime. Lucky also that I make a nice salary for where I live.
