Really hard to get good recommendations these days.

The problem is that people like different genres. What do you like to read?

I second his nomination of A Gentleman in Moscow. That was a very interesting book.

i have been working my way through the Tom Clancy books for about a year now. I love to read, but i dont have 2 hours or anything like that. I sit and read on average 10-15 min a day.

I try to read 5-10 books a year. Its one of my favorite things to do.

Doesn't seem like a lot of books, but between other hobbies, and work, its hard to read as much as I want. Plus, most of the books I read are generally between 300-500 pages.

I'm in the process of rereading Orwells 1984 now. It just amazes me that left wingers read it and consider it a manual instead of a warning as it was intended

Every day. I probably read around 3 or 4 books a week. It doesn't hurt that I can walk to a library in two minutes from my place.

I listened to A Gentleman in Moscow on Audible, which had a great voice actor narrating. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the hard copy. But for those who like audiobooks, I would highly recommend it.

For me there's something great about going to the neighborhood library (with no cell phone in tow) and slowly thumbing through the isles for a good book to check out.

I found as life and kids consumed much of my time for many years that I deprived myself for way too long. Now that the kids are away at college I've loved getting my reading time back and I found I missed the library more than I ever knew I could.

It’s pretty easy to do, if you shut off the TV at night

eta: I only have one though; I’m sure my views will change with more

Yes. I read that years ago and still pick it up for references. Very informative, he explains wines and regions very simply for someone who’s interested in learning.

Love doing that. My library is a huge mansion on St Charles Avenue. The property is an entire city block. Sometimes I'll take a folding chair and sit under an oak tree with a thermos full of wine and just relax.
