I would prefer to keep only standard time, but keeping only DST is better than going back and forth between the 2.

I prefer standard time, but I would much rather have permanent DST than switch back and forth. I assume he means we’re going to stop switching twice a year, which is awesome and needs to happen. Whatever we actually land on is fine with me, just stop with the retarded switching.

Work isn't going to adjust. I won't get an extra hour after work to prepare but I will need to be on the water an hour earlier to catch daylight.

I get the distinct idea that we have otherwise fairly intelligent people that believe DST actually adds an hour of daylight to the day.
Folks, you are getting up and going about your scheduled duties 1 hour earlier and coming home or whatever 1 hour earlier. Please tell me that I am mistaken and everybody knows this.
