I highly doubt it gets that strong, plus it would not last very long… the farther north it goes, the weaker it will get.

If it hasn't happened before, it won't happen with Lee and Jova. Jova is a 4 right now and should start weakening tonight.

Definitely 135 knots (155 mph) at surface based on this dropsonde. Don't know if they have evidence yet to support 140 knots to go to Cat 5 (140 knots and 160 mph).
