Many People Lack Protective Antibodies After COVID-19 Infection
quote:
The results here were not so encouraging.
Thirty-three percent of the individuals tested had an NT50 of less than 50, which implies essentially no immunity to repeat infection; 79% had an NT50 less than 1000 — they may have partial immunity. Only two people tested had an NT50 greater than 5000.
But wearing a mask doesn't protect you anyway. It protects other people from you in case you're one of the 33%.

My family lives in France - yes it is. The state is hugely centralized and personal freedom is much more limited.
Macron is functionally a king.
Two years back they lowered the speed limit across the country, France has perhaps the highest density of speed cameras in the world, but they waited two months to place the signs showing the new lower speed limit.
They said it was about climate change, but it was just about the revenue, all those speeding tickets.

Who is going to tell the police they have to wear masks? I haven’t seen one wearing a mask other than on TV.

That’s cool. Every establishment in my area requires masks be worn, and I have no problem wearing one when I go to the store. It doesn’t make me a sheep. It’s just not that big of a deal.

Did you legitimately have it or are you one of those “I had a cough and felt bad so I probably had COVID” people?

I guess I'm not afraid to ask why they want me to wear a mask. Why should I? I can’t be infected not can I infect, so why?

You know that acquired immunity, while hopeful, isn’t certain yet, right?

Do you know anyone who has gotten to twice?

Surely we have produced someone, somewhere who has been infected twice, if that is the case.

Not to be flippant, but agreeing to these measures is how you end up with a country like France, where you’re perpetually poor, because you’re paying sixty percent tax rates.
And worse, personal autonomy is very limited because of restrictive rules and regulations passed down by a disconnected ruling class in Paris.

Do you honestly believe just because you think you had it you’re now immune?
Good Lord this country is fricked.
