Because you have to drink it ICE cold. And the nanosecond it stops being ICE cold, it is akin to warm fetid urine.

That's about the right price for flavored water.

Flavored water exists. It is expensive.

It's the week John Denver discovered the Rocky mountain high and competition is a lot tougher than a couple years ago when medicine was outlawed.

Haven’t noticed here in Georgia. Would definitely be buying some if I saw those prices and I don’t even like coors that much.

I guess you drink 12 ounce cans and think the 10 ounce cans are inferior? The better question is who drinks four ounces less (12 ounces) than the majority of the world (pints) and thinks they should knock someone for wanting a smaller beer?

Light beer doesnt shelf turd like an IPA

That is an interesting assertion and one that is generally wrong.

Quality beer that had been bottled correctly doesn't have an expiration date. Beer ages just like wine or scotch. The problem with inexpensive beer is the brewers don't do very much to limit the oxygen in the bottle/can and it experiences significant oxidation and is one of the main reasons they have "expiration dates".

Almost all quality beer can be bottle-aged if kept in the proper conditions, I have beer approaching 20 years old. The flavor profile changes as it ages as different aromatics ebb and flow. I drank a St. Sebastian yesterday that was bottled in 2007. While malt-forward beers tend to age better IPAs and other hop-forward beers can age well also but the hop bloom occurs well before the malt bloom so if you like heavy hops flavors be aware they will fade as it ages. In general higher alcohol beers tend to age "better" as well.

The whole "fresh beer" idea was pushed by cheap domestic producers who don't spend the time or money to evacuate the oxygen but it does a disservice to good beer.

One last obvious point just like wine and scotch beer doesn't always get better with age but it does get different. Depending on an individual's palate a particular beer might be at its best "fresh" a year old of 10 years old. In that respect, it is like wine it is up to you to pick the best age, unlike scotch where the distiller picks the proper age as it stops aging when bottled for the most part.

Every thread addressing beer brands includes at least one "piss," "horse piss," etc reference from a non-fan of that brand.

How do those posters know what horse piss tastes like? Said posters are unwavering in their claims...

Coors Light sales in Louisiana have been terrible the last few years. The wholesaler overshot their projection on the “new” 10oz can and it bit them in the arse hard. All the AB wholesalers could not get any 10oz packages from November-February, and they thought the consumer would switch brands because of their availability. Sucks to suck.
