You misspelled refs.

It is the Kansas City Referees.

The things/topics this board chooses to clutch pearls over just makes me shake my head at times.

People here and elsewhere like wrestling. All of us on here who watch it KNOW that it's scripted/finishes are pre-determined and that it's entertainment. You know what else is scripted entertainment? Every single TV show that's ever existed. Yet it's somehow taboo that some od us watch wrestling for entertainment purposes.

I mean seriously, it's not that big of a deal.

I don’t watch wrestling, but with the ticket prices for big events it doesn’t sound dead at all

They have been saying that the WWE has been scripted since the 1990’s.

So is the NFL. Nfl even argued in court that it should be classified as entertainment just like wrestling. Judge agreed and ruled as such.

If it weren’t for this website, I wouldn’t know that it exists. I’m embarrassed for anyone who admits to following it.

Can’t remember but I saw with rock n roll express or the freebies in person at like 7 years old.

Ikr. Grown arse men arguing and defending themselves watching near naked men amped up on steroids. Yet they call out the media for their fake news, but don't call out them for being fans of a fake so-called sport.

Professional wrestling is for kids, primarily but not exclusively boys, from about the age of 6 to about 15 or 16 along their dads who get a sense of nostalgia for their own childhood. As long as there are little boys from the age of 6-16 professional wrestling will be around.

My son and I are a prime example of this. I grew up watching wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, the Tennessee Stud, and Bullet Bob Armstrong in the 70s and 80s. By the time I was in my mid teens I started losing interest. Fast forward to the early 2000s an I am the father of a little boy. Around the age of 5 or 6, he and his little friend from school both discovered WWE with wrestlers like Jeff Hardy and John Cena. For the next several years, my son is a fan. It’s something he and I can watch and spend time together. I’m buying him the toys, t-shirts, etc. I’m renting the PPV events and buying tickets when the WWE comes to town. Then around the age of about 13, he’s done with it, which means I’m once again done with it. And unless my son has a son of his own who gets into professional wrestling, I’ll be done with it forever. That’s the natural order of things.

Kids love it, just like I loved it as a kid and into my 20s and still have always kept up with it. Its entertainment. Why do you give a frick about it? If people enjoy it does it impact you?

Maybe they should start a women’s lingerie league like they did with football.
