Harsh but there was a large pitbull on my property this week and I have no idea where it came from. This thing wasn’t cute or friendly. And I think it would have attacked if I wasn’t high up on a loud tractor.

Tone is more important than words here. She could have been saying it in an over exaggerated way that, because of her tone, was her obviously exaggerating because I don't think she would literally go to China or kill anyone that looks like that person.
In interviews I have seen her in thats sort of her personality. Not really a big deal.

And are parents soft today or were parents just not "soft enough" in the past?
I got bit by a chihuahua when I was a kid and my momma told me "it barely broke the skin" and then was not concerned at all that I continued to play with the dog.
