In some regard, maybe.
But Cobain's songs were extremely Beatles influenced in composition.
Other bands may have influenced his aesthetic, but the Beatles were his primary influence for composition.

I can't believe this post has as many upvotes as it does downvotes. Facelift was released a year before Nevermind. It's an absolutely amazing album.
Dirt.

Kurt Cobain was a massive fan of the Pixies, citing them as a primary influence on Nirvana's sound, particularly their signature quiet-loud dynamics, melodies, and surreal lyrics, with Cobain famously saying he was "basically trying to rip off the Pixies" when writing "Smells Like Teen Spirit". He deeply admired their unconventional song structures, unique sound, and genre-bending approach, with albums like Surfer Rosa and Doolittle serving as major inspiration.

Or you could read the actual article.
I'd love to, but OP only provided a shitty Twitter link instead of a link to a Daily Mail article.

Even in Nirvana — the Beatles [were] such a huge influence. Kurt loved The Beatles because it was just so simple. Well, it seemed simple… they sound easy to play, but you know what? They’re f**cking hard!"
—Dave Grohl: Access Online
Everyone talks about Kurt's love affair with ... the whole punk scene, but he was also a huge Beatles fan, and the more time we spent together the more obvious their influence on his songwriting became.
—Butch Vig: NME
Like I said, other bands may have influenced aspects of his aesthetic, but compositionally he was heavily influenced by the Beatles.
I know it's a lost art to understand this among populists, but two things can be true at once.

I'm going to guess you're a PT poster - I'll look it up after and edit.

This isn’t a surprise to anyone who’s seen Soaked in Bleach, Seattle PD botched this case from the start. It was physically impossible for Kurt to have killed himself, toxicology reports show he had 4 times the legal dose of heroin in him and would’ve been incapacitated as soon as he shot up. Courtney killed him and then hired a PI afterwards and the PI’s conclusion was that she was the one responsible

They are nu-metal which is a different genre anyway.
Not really nu metal like Korn or Limp Bizkit, ypu could tell from their sound they were heavily influenced by Nirvana.

The peer-reviewed paper presented ten points of evidence suggesting Cobain was confronted by one or more assailants who forced a heroin overdose to incapacitate him, before one of them shot him in the head, placed the gun in his arms and left behind a forged suicide note.
I don't think Courtney had to force him to do it

I would say Killing Joke also inspired him. So much that they were suing him at the time of his death.
Curt admitted to being influenced by over 50 musicians. Many of them not even close to his genre. No one can point to just one.

There are several people who this could be said about. One example I always use is Keith Whitley, he was a great country singer but people act like he was the greatest ever. It is only because they die young and tragically. They never got to the point in their career where their music or movies bombed so they are worshipped.
I don’t know how old you people are, but Cobain and Nirvana were one of the top bands in the world and Kurt was a megastar before his death.

Cobain and Nirvana pretty much killed “the 80’s” era of music and ushered in a brand new era.
And I’m one who liked “the 80’s”.
Very silly statement on your part.

That shotgun would have been so cumbersome to shoot yourself in the head with. That's the main thing that bothered me about it.
Cumbersome, yes------------doable, also yes. I only know of one guy who did himself in that way and he was a skinny little runt of a guy at the time of his demise.
He was a guy with some mental health issues and heavily relied on his dad to get through life. His dad died and a few weeks later he made his last decision.
He did the shotgun suicide and took the better part of his head clean off.

Deaths that are not natural causes are classified as homicides in police reports. Suicides are classified as homicides.
Coroners do it differently. They classify deaths in one of four ways: homicide, suicide, accidental, or natural.
