Proud of Jody. My Woodlawn friend that was victimized by the Ski Mask Rapist a bit earlier had similar courage. The education and honesty aspect of telling the complexities of their feelings and how they dealt with them and what they learned is really educational and helpful. Here's to you Jody.

Interesting comment since the Trump administration and their enablers are engaging in pedophile protection on a scale no one has ever seen. Congress passed a law compelling Trump to stop the pedo protection racket and they are ignoring the law. Pedo protection is a core Trump program right now.

There is this video on YouTube that is from what looks like from an academic analysis of the news coverage of that night and has an interview with the news director or general manager talking about the video. At one point they show a clip of the newscast from that night.
Because it is too graphic and YouTube wants you to confirm your age, it will not allow me to share the URL from the app. To get to it, just search WBRZ Airport Shooting and it should be the first one. Go to 4:55 for the shot and how it aired on TV on WBRZ.
Think of it from one perspective, the incident happened at 9:15 pm and the news went on at 10 pm. So they had 45 minutes to decide what they were going to air, luckily they had remote unit to send the video back and the news director had enough time to get to the station to watch it and tell his people how to proceed.
If you watch the video, it goes on and on about the newly available video from smaller and smaller video equipment in the 1990’s and the eithics of using such video. Just imagine in today’s environment of cell phones with video cameras and live streams on Facebook or other social media platforms. All of that content is essentially killing the news business.
