Make fun, but Bill is the only president to run a surplus since 1969, and he did four in a row plus forecasts for it to continue.

That was all Newt fricking Gingrich.

That shite was not anywhere near happening if he didn't become Speaker.

clinton was a disaster of obamian proportions (with the same election results) before Gingrich got in place. I have no idea why that isn't obvious.

Here's who will be on the new $20 bill.

This is the new face of America:

ETA: There's a "count" pun here, but I can't find it.

Well Jackson was a genocidal maniac literally. Having someone like Harriet Tubman on there will remind people of America's heroes that deserve more praise than they received. She did more good in her life than AJ could dream of

To be fair, I think Andrew Jackson would personally be ok with it if he was taken off the $20.

i would imagine if you took 100 random people from the street, the vast majority could tell you more about tubman than jackson

Agreed. But, it still doesn't mean that her face should be on one of the most widely circulated bills we have. She still didn't do that much for our country as a whole.

We will have at least two presidents before this happens. Something tells me it won't unless the Dems sweep up for a few elections.

Because they have all been educated by progressives, who think it's more important to highlight the negatives in our history, so that we won't love our country and traditions.

I really did expect that. The first step in eliminating debt is running a surplus. No one alive today is going to see the US out of debt, but it seemed possible in the late 90s under Clinton.
