We will know how this turns out the moment the race of the jurors is revealed.

If I'm a business owner that got my business destroyed, I have my lawsuit ready against the mom and step dad for inciting a riot. Just go ahead and send any settlement money my way.

here is what will happen

City with advice from their lawyers will settle for about 250-500K, if that.

The suit against cops and wilson will be dropped as part of deal.

They will win...can we really expect 12 impartial jurors to be selected in St. Louis?

If case is held in St.Louis County, jury will be 7-9 white people.

I imagine in City/Federal it could be 50/50.

You don't think they'll be awarded more than that?

County will have put to 10 whites. City would be 7-8 blacks. Feds have smaller juries but it has to be unanimous. Likely even more whites because while they pull from the city they also pull from at louis, st Charles Jefferson and Franklin counties

No. And I don't know if it would get to 100k. There is too big of a risk of losing on summary judgment.

Hopefully the plaintiffs and their attorneys (who'll probably do this on their dime) will spend thousands of dollars, lose and get nothing. Or, if they win, are awarded a grand total of $1.

This shouldn't even get to court, he committed a crime and then attacked an officer.

The interesting suit would be the Ferguson Chamber of Commerce vs George Soros, Al Sharpton, the Browns and anyone else that had a part in inciting the riots.

Want to bet Soros wouldn't pay up to stop discovery?
