So you are really trying to say that millennial/gen z’s parents are the worst? Their parents are the issue.

Sounds like you may have nailed yourself as the problem.

Neither would have kids being sophomores in HS or college.

His title/post connection makes little sense.

You know what though. When I was young I watched my Dad do things because I wanted to learn how to do things. He didn't say hey come over here and watch this either. I also didn't have the distractions they have now. Plus and a big plus kids have now is I didn't have YouTube to learn how to almost any repair job that needed to be done. At the best we had Time Life books on repair.

Bro I'm 29, well established into my career with a graduates degree. Methinks maybe you arent talking about Millenials lol.

Good rule of thumb....if you are talking about kids or teens you arent talking about millenials.

Well, we have the BR sucks and millennials suck threads out of the way. Should I start a fatties suck one too to complete the OT trifecta?

And pitbulls

Yeah, can't forget that one. I believe someone also already covered the teacher/student one. I thinks it's about time to have another LucasP thread, been averaging one every 12 hours or so since the reinstatement thread.
This is starting to remind me of work sometimes where we seem to have a meeting to just discuss all of the upcoming meetings.

Yep

Gen z is 1997 forward. They're 22 and under. They do not have children who are sophomores in anything.

I don't know why the boomers here act like people can't just get this info in 2 seconds.

My kid is 17 and about to reach his Eagle Scout status. Boy Scouts is the only thing he has ever stuck with and it has taught him a variety of skills to use in everyday life. I recommend parents to get their kids involved in scouts.

It's kind of amusing to me that this term has become synonymous with any young person.

I'm technically Gen X but work with people just a few years younger than me that are millennials.

You parents out there. Are YOU preparing your kids for life? Instead of criticizing the kids, maybe you should consider your own efforts to teach them these things you scoff about them not knowing.
frick no they aren't. Boomers have created a false sense of elitism based on the generation that brought them here. They were lazy then & they are lazy now.

Why would I teach my kid how to do something you pay other people to do?

On this board:

Millennial = younger than me and stupid.

Lib/prog/cuck = disagrees with me and stupid

Trashy = I don't do it and stupid

I'm sure there's way more.

Man you frickers are dense.

The "Millennials" part was to emphasize that "younger generations" aren't taught shite anymore.

And my whole point, which a lot of y'all missed, is that younger generations just need to be taught how to do stuff.

Bunch of sensitive bitches in here with kneejerk reactions.

I was actually taking up for you dumbasses.

If everyone is coming to the same conclusion, the problem lies with the writer, not the reader.

It's the adage of meeting one a-hole in the morning or several throughout the day. The latter makes you the a-hole.
