Hahaha I was going to say the same thing about sleeping in his class! If you needed a nap that was the place to do it. He never cared either. Instead of getting mad like some teachers he would just call you by your last name in his classic voice and make a joke out of it. Truly a great man.

Yep and it was always good and cold in the old dorm building so perfect nap conditions. I couldn’t stand Andrea Blaiser though. She tried getting me and a couple others suspended because we went to Bear’s for lunch and ate it in the park on our free period. Got a Saturday school for it. The good old days!

My son used to be friends with him. Both parents are odd, but the mom is straight bat shite crazy. During and after the nasty divorce, you could see him slipping. Product of divorce and crazy parents. Very sad.

Poor kid. I really hope they find him soon and that he’s unharmed. Angry divorces are hell on kids.
I don’t know these people at all, but I live in the area. Of course I’m curious like everyone else because the dad’s post was worded strangely. Just speculation……I found the mom’s IG account and she definitely seems a little cuckoo. She also posted screenshots of him online gaming with adults. I have a 13 year old son who’s a gamer kid, but under no circumstances would I encourage or allow him to play online with kids he doesn’t know, much less with adults he doesn’t know. It’s not safe.

The sad part is if they found him and placed him in foster care, he would have a 50% chance of joining the homeless population.

He ran away, maybe he had help, but he voluntarily walked out of school. Its been 5 days, they would have issued an Amber alert if there was any hint of abduction. The situation sucks but way better odds he is found safe and sound as a run a way vs being abducted.

Someone else is involved unless self harm is a factor. Maybe not forced but groomed over the internet to leave on his own. He could also escaping issues with his father, but I still don’t see a 14 year taking off to travel the country on their own without anyone influencing this decision.

Latest Update from Dad’s girlfriend. Sounds like the Mother is now in the clear and now it’s a true runaway event. Reports he had a lot of cash prior to disappearing.

Austin Rahaim’s son Landon has not been found nor heard from. No social media accounts, gaming accounts, or any other accounts have been active in days. He did not have his phone.
He hasn’t contacted any family nor his friends.
To clarify, the last time anyone actually saw him was when he walked out of the cafeteria at Saint Paul’s school on Tuesday morning. If anyone has camera footage from around that area, please let us know. Everything we have been sent so far has unfortunately not been relevant.
A tracking device on his Ebike he had access to was tracked to 946 Dupard St Mandeville and went off grid there and never came back up leading up to his disappearance. If you have any footage around that area or leading from Covington to that area along the trace where he often rode Ebikes, please look and let us know.
If you are on the Trace, please keep an eye out. Biking community, please keep an eye out. Please tag any biking community in the comments here and in surrounding states.
Landon told friends he was going to run away to Mississippi previously, so we are highly considering that he may have tried to get to Mississippi or successfully have gotten to Mississippi. He has had access to his Ebike that goes 60 mph as far as we know still has access to it. The Ebike was last tracked at Dupard but is not there. Landon loves biking and would often bring his bike charger with him on his biking adventures, as he was such an adamant biker that his battery would run out. He is very resourceful in riding his Ebike long distances as he has a great sense of direction and he also is an expert at finding places to charge his Ebike battery. Anywhere that someone would take an Ebike, he could be. Anywhere where people would go to ride Ebikes, he could be.
We are very grateful for all of the prayers and the outpour of community support. Please say an extra prayer while you are at church this morning.
Austin is overwhelmed and inundated with information at the time, so I am helping him firsthand locate Landon. Austin’s mom Lorraine Lance Siders lives in Hattiesburg and is also highly involved.
Landon is still missing. Please encourage others not to spread rumors that he has been found. The moment he is found, we will let everyone know.
Currently no persons of interest.

definitely sounds like this Kid has had this plan in place for awhile hopefully he is safe and someone gets in contact with him soon.
