I’ve pulled a boat for at least half of those miles.
You should move closer to the water if you've towed a boat 50,000 miles.

The transmission service light came on. It’s a sealed transmission so I can’t even check the fluid level, so yes, I’m getting the transmission serviced this week.

My 2007 Tundra with about 165k miles gave me transmission problems in 2022. You can actually change the fluid in them, and I did, but didn’t solve the problem.
Took it to a transmission place near the NOLA airport. The parts in it that used to be flexible had hardened with age.
Because of supply chain issues they couldn’t get a new or rebuilt transmission for it, so they rebuilt mine. About $4k and back on the road in a week.

There's a leak

I had a 2001 stick shift Tundra with 400,000 miles on it when I got rid of it about five years ago. Regular oil changes are all that it ever required. No maintenance issues to speak of.

A lot of times the leak is the Schrader valve core where you put refrigerant in/out. It has rubber gaskets that do go out and develop a small leak. The cap (like a valve stem cap on your tire) is supposed to stop any leak until you can replace the valve but those leak too. A dye test will show you where it’s leaking.

I got rid of my 2006 in 2023. I just didn't want to drive that truck anymore. Had 140,000 miles on it.

Not sure how he can have a job and drive that much a year because he's always posting about how much time he spends working out in the gym.

The fantasy world you live in must be quite the deal….hopefully they never let you out of the facility.

AC stopped working a couple days ago. 240k miles. Thought it was time for that RAM 2500 I’ve been talking to the ol’ boy in Tomball about. I know he’s ready. Went and bought some R134a for $49 (was $15 in 1998). Charged that puppy up, and blowing air colder than I’ve ever felt her. Compressor is obviously working. Time will tell if there’s a leak. We riding, OT. Another 100k in her. My boy at Tomball was licking his lips. Maybe 1-2 more years
100% “your boy in Tomball” can’t stand you.

Sorry, I’m a man. I actually leave the house to go to work
I go to the office every day, but it's not very far - 4.5 miles.

My 2013 has 240k on it and never an issue. I treat a truck a truck, drive it hard and out it up wet. The 5.7 engine is great.

I realize that for some people it's just unavoidable, but man I'd hate spending 2+ hrs in the vehicle in addition to my working hours.
We've always made it a point to avoid that if we could. I come home from the office and eat lunch probably 2-3 days per week.
