Answer: Far less than leftist abortion policies take out every year.

It's stupid but any "AR-style" rifle. That way it covers non-armalite weapons

Newsflash: making things illegal doesn’t prevent criminal or crazy people from doing them.
The only solution is to arm every man, woman and child with a weapon with no regard for their background, age, capacity to tell right from wrong etc. Every one. It would also be relatively cheap considering the crime it would prevent.
Good people with a gun will overcome bad people with a gun. The state has no legitimate means that is constitutionally supportable to conduct a background check or in any other manner stand between a citizen of this nation and their right to keep and bear arms. There are already right around 400 million firearms in the US with about 330 million people. Obviously the trouble is there ain't near enough guns in the hands of near enough people....we have to have more. It is the only solution that does no destroy the second amendment.
Just a modest proposal but the only solution is to arm every man, woman and child in the US with no regard to the person. There are simply too few guns in the United States....

The simple answer is the internet. Before the internet psychopaths couldn’t easily talk to other people just like them from around the world anytime they want to and share ideas, talk about who/what they hate, get angrier, but supplies and decide to do something like this. Basically gaining access to anything you need to do something like this is 10000x easier today than it was 30 years ago.
I abhor it, but I understand why people instantaneously politicize these shootings. So many stupid responses like the mouth breather asking it was a “gun free zone”, but this response regarding the internet is great. I think you make a very strong point and are onto something.

frick off. You're yet another useful idiot who completely ignores the fact these shootings were unheard of in this country until recently, at a time with much easier access to firearms.

This will probably come off as insensitive, but this is the "norm" now. It has been for awhile. These shootings have become political, both sides blame each other.
One side wants to ban certain guns which as we know, does nothing to stop people who want them. Just like when alcohol was once illegal, did that stop people from drinking?
We have a mental health problem in this country. We have an addiction problem in this country, both impacts people's behavior, but of course the government isn't going to do anything to seriously fix these issues, plus they love issues that divide people because that keeps both parties strong. This is of course my opinion, but this shite can happen anywhere at any time. It sucks, but thats just the reality of it.
And the same thing always happens right away, people start arguing the same bullshite points as if that is going to do anything.

Except they do. We are teaching them well. But their culture pushes more for suicide without the by cop or homicude part.

Maybe we should actually address the parenting and societal issues that are creating these little psychopaths, and quit pretending that inanimate objects are the root cause.
It would be really nice if both sides of the political aisle could actually have a real conversation that wasn't full of rhetoric and not much else. None of the politicians ever listen to anything. They just shout at each other.

We used to institutionalize mentally ill people. Old insane asylums and then mental institutions and finally psychiatric hospitals. Then the liberals decided that was very mean and those people needed to be let out. So over the last 40 or so years we have released a large number of these insane people into the public where we trust them to buy and take their meds, but they rarely can or do.
So we have this every once in a while. It isn’t the guns. It’s the mentally ill people we allow to just roam among us, and when they snap, it’s bad.
But we’ve decided that is the price we are willing to pay for them not to be institutionalized.
Mental health care is expensive, especially institutionally. Costs and public spending on healthcare is the leading cause of mentally ill folks running amuk. We ain't willing to spend the money.

Only one side resorts to immediately wanting to ban inanimate objects instead of addressing the root cause.
